Did you know having a healthy diet and eliminating junk foods from your daily meals could make you a more energetic and active person?

Eating healthy even affects your outward appearance; less acne, longer hair and nails, less oily skin are some ways healthy food can positively affect your appearance.

If you want to try it out and see how a proper diet can make you beautiful on the inside and out, then here is the healthy eating plan I created, tried, and recommend.

Top 10 Healthiest Foods to Eat Weekly:

  • Avocado

  • Kale

  • Mushrooms

  • Eggs

  • Salmon

  • Tuna

  • Almonds

  • Blueberries

  • Quinoa

  • Broccoli

Things Not to Eat:

  • Greasy foods i.e. potato chips, cheese, fried foods, hot dogs
  • Unnatural breads
  • Too many dairy products
  • Candy
  • Instead, try some veggies!
  • Chocolate
Why not? It can cause acne

Healthy snack recipe to try: Kale Chips – Super easy to make!

These are a low-calorie nutritious snack. Like potato chips, you can’t stop at just eating one.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch kale

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

  3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.

Importance of Good Nutrition

Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases (i.e., heart disease and cancer), and promote your overall health.
