Places to Give

Deuteronomy 15:10

Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Don’t forget to pray about this. Listen for God’s answer. It might be something like, “Give $25 to St. Jude.” Or something like, “Give $2 to the Salvation Army.” Just listen to what God is telling you to do.

Here is an idea: Every year I save any change I have. It might be from the parking lot or leftover from a purchase. Then, when Christmas is close, I donate it to the Salvation Army. You could try something like this.

Galatians 5:13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Praying that you will be a blessing to somebody today!

  2. I’m so very proud of you HalleBelle (a nickname lovingly given you my our sweet Mimi)…the sentiments in your blog brought tears of joy and thankfulness to my heart as I read them. By your actions, I see in you the young lady God is continuing to mold according to His plan…you give from the sweetness in your heart which then flows lovingly and selflessly to help those in need. You can go peacefully asleep tonight knowing today your “Pray(er) that you will be a blessing to somebody today” was fulfilled because I, for at least one person, was deeply blessed reading your blog and being reminded of the compassionate and giving spirit of love my precious granddaughter HalleBelle has. Love, Granpa
